The Curse and Mark of Cain are a story from the Bible about a man named Cain. Cain was the first son of Adam and Eve, the first man and woman. God told Cain to be kind to his brother Abel, and not to be angry with him, but Cain got angry and killed Abel. Because of his crime, God punished Cain and put a curse on him. He also marked Cain so that others would know he was punished by God and they would not hurt him. To mark Cain, God put a mark on his forehead which was a sign of God's anger and punishment.
