Cyberactivism in North Korea

Okay kiddo, do you know what activism means? It means trying to change things you don't like in the world. Sometimes people do this on the internet, and that's called cyberactivism.

Now, there's a country called North Korea where the government doesn't let people speak out and say what they really think. That's not fair, right? So some people try to use the internet to spread messages of freedom and hope to people in North Korea.

But it's not easy, because the North Korean government tries to control what people can see on the internet. They only allow a tiny bit of information through, and they block websites that could be dangerous to their power.

So cyberactivists use tricks to get around those blocks. They might use special software or go through secret networks to get their messages to people inside North Korea.

Sometimes these messages are about the outside world, so people inside North Korea can learn about different countries and cultures. And sometimes it's just a message to say "you're not alone, we're thinking of you and we want you to be free."

It's a brave thing to do, because the North Korean government doesn't like it and could punish people who get caught. But cyberactivists believe that everyone should have the right to speak their mind and share their thoughts and ideas.
