Cycle speedway

Cycle speedway is a fun sport that involves riding bicycles on a special oval or circular track. Imagine a big circle made of dirt where you ride your bike with your friends. The aim of the game is very simple - you need to be the first one to cross the finish line after completing the set number of laps.

Each bicycle used in cycle speedway has a freewheel and no gears. This means that once you pedal forward, the bike keeps going forward until you stop pedaling or brake. It's like riding a bike with a fixed gear, which makes it easier to pedal and balance during the race.

In cycle speedway, you wear special helmets to protect your head and handlebars that have no brakes. Since the tracks are short and small, you don't need brakes as you can easily take your feet off the pedals and slow down or stop by using your shoes on the ground.

The races are short, usually lasting no more than a few minutes. You start with a sprint from the start line and try to cycle as fast as you can. To win the race, you have to be quick to get off the start line, stay on the track, and beat everyone else.

Cycle speedway is a great way to have fun with your friends, get some exercise, and develop your bike-riding skills. Anyone can do it, and it's easy to learn, so why not give it a try?
