Cyclophosphamide

Cyclophosphamide is a kind of medicine that you can take to help fight against some bad things in your body, including cancer.

Our body is made up of many tiny things called cells, and sometimes these cells can go bad and start multiplying too quickly. That's when we call it cancer. Cyclophosphamide works by fighting against these bad cells and slowing down their multiplication so that they can't grow as quickly.

However, Cyclophosphamide doesn't only kill bad cells, but it can also harm good cells that help our body fight off sickness. That's why doctors usually only recommend it to people who really need it, like those with cancer.

But sometimes, even if you need Cyclophosphamide, it can still make you feel really tired and sick. That's because it's a very strong medicine, and it can cause some side effects like nausea, vomiting or hair loss.

So, if you need Cyclophosphamide, your doctor will make sure to explain to you what it is, how it works and what side effects you might experience. They will also tell you how often to take it and how long you will be taking it.
