ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

DECAF

Decaf is coffee that doesn't have caffeine, which is a chemical that can make you feel jittery or keep you up at night. To make decaf, coffee beans are treated with a special process that removes most of the caffeine. This process doesn't change the taste of the coffee too much, so it still smells and looks like regular coffee. Sometimes people who can't have caffeine or who don't like the way it makes them feel have decaf instead. It's a way to still enjoy the taste of coffee without the side effects of caffeine.
