The DIKW pyramid is like a big building made up of blocks, but instead of normal blocks, these blocks are made up of important things that help us learn and understand things better.
The bottom block is called the Data block. This block is where all the information is gathered, like numbers or words that tell us about something. For example, how many apples there are in a basket.
The second block is called the Information block. This is where the data collected in the first block is sorted and analyzed to make conclusions about it. This block helps us figure out things like how many apples are in the basket, and if we have enough for everyone.
The third block is called the Knowledge block. In this block, we take information from the second block and connect it to what we already know. This helps us understand how many apples we need to buy to have enough for everyone.
The fourth and final block at the top is called the Wisdom block. This is where we take all the knowledge we have gained and use it to make good decisions. For example, we can use our knowledge of apple counting to decide to buy more apples than we need to have some extra just in case.
So just like building blocks make a building, the DIKW pyramid helps us learn and understand things better by sorting and analyzing information, connecting it to what we already know and using it to make good decisions.
