DOS Protected Mode Services

Dos Protected mode services allow a computer to do more than just run programs made for the computer's own operating system - the DOS operating system. When a computer runs in DOS protected mode, it can also run programs originally made for other operating systems, like Windows or Mac OS. This means a computer can access different kinds of software and better be able to do more tasks. For example, a computer running in DOS protected mode can use programs designed to work on Windows or Mac OS and be able to do things like access the internet, play video or audio, type in a document, or create a spreadsheet.
