Daicon III and IV Opening Animations

Daicon III and IV Opening Animations were two incredibly popular anime opening sequences made in 1981 and 1983, respectively. They were made by the anime studio Gainax and featured music by Japan's most famous rock band, the Yellow Magic Orchestra. The Daicon III and IV openings featured unique and inventive animation with cutesy characters and spaceships. They featured characters in cute, colorful costumes dancing to the music and flying through the universe. The opening sequences featured lots of bright colors, fantastic action, and beautiful images. They quickly became incredibly popular among anime fans and have been referenced in numerous pieces of anime since.
