Data portability

Data portability is the ability to move your data from one place to another place. For example, you might use a special program to copy a bunch of photos from your computer to a USB drive, so you can take them with you when you travel. Or, you might upload your music collection from your phone to your computer, so you can listen to it on your laptop. Data portability makes it easy to take your data with you, or share it with someone else, no matter where you are or what devices you're using.
