ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Data processing unit

A Data Processing Unit (or "DPU" for short) is like a mini-computer inside a bigger computer. It has its own little brain, and it does specific jobs for the larger computer that it's attached to. It helps the larger computer do things faster and more efficiently, by taking on tasks like collecting data, and then turning it into something useful. For example, a DPU might take a picture from a camera, and then turn it into something that the larger computer can understand and use.
