David Michaels (epidemiologist)

David Michaels is an epidemiologist. Epidemiologists are scientists who study how diseases spread and how to keep people healthy. They do things like research new vaccines and test if people have the same illnesses. David Michaels studies things like pollution, radiation, and toxic chemicals in the environment to see if they are making people sick. He works really hard to make sure that people can stay healthy, even when there are lots of things around them that could make them sick.
