Once upon a time, around 6 million years ago, our ancestors were not humans like us. They were more like chimpanzees or gorillas.
But over time, they started to change. They began to walk on two legs instead of four, which helped them to explore new places and carry things with their hands.
Around 2 million years ago, a group of these ancestors called Australopithecus started to make simple tools, and this was the first sign of human creativity.
Fast forward a bit to about 300,000 years ago, and our ancestor Homo sapiens appeared. These are the first humans who looked a lot like us. They were very smart and could communicate with each other using language.
As humans evolved, they started to spread out and explore different parts of the world. This led to different cultures and civilizations popping up all over the place.
And that, little one, is the story of the dawn of humanity. It's a long and exciting story, and it's still going on today as we continue to learn more and more about our past and ourselves.
