Death Valley

Death Valley is a really hot and dry place in California where it hardly ever rains. It's a big desert with really cool rocks and sand dunes.

It got its name because a long time ago, some people got lost there and couldn't find their way out. They got really hot and thirsty and unfortunately died. Now, people are careful when they go there and make sure to bring enough water and supplies to stay safe.

Even though it's really hot during the day, at nighttime it can get super cold because there are no clouds to keep the heat in. So, when you visit Death Valley, you need to bring clothes for both the hot and the cold weather.

Some animals live in Death Valley, like coyotes, snakes, and lizards. There are also some really cool plants that can survive in the hot and dry weather, like the Joshua Tree.

Overall, Death Valley is a really neat and unique place to visit, but you need to make sure to stay safe by bringing enough water and dressing for the weather.
