Death Wish (1974 film)

Okay, so there's a movie called Death Wish that came out in 1974. It's a story about a man named Paul Kersey who lives in New York City with his wife and daughter. One day, his wife is murdered and his daughter is attacked and left in a coma by some bad guys.

Paul is really sad and angry and wants to do something about it. But he doesn't think the police can catch the bad guys or protect him and his daughter, so he takes matters into his own hands. He goes out at night with a gun and goes after people who he thinks might be the ones who hurt his family.

Some people think what Paul is doing is okay because he's standing up for himself and his family. But other people think what he's doing is really dangerous and could make things worse. The police try to catch him, but he's really good at hiding and getting away.

In the end, Paul is able to get revenge on the people who hurt his family, but he also realizes that what he did was really risky and could have hurt innocent people. The movie is kind of controversial because some people think it's a good thing for Paul to take justice into his own hands, and other people think that's a really bad idea.
