ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Decision cycle

A decision cycle is how you make choices. It's like a loop that you follow over and over, every time you need to make a choice.

First, you identify a problem or situation. Then, you think of different ways to solve the problem. These are called options, or choices. Next, you evaluate those options or choices, which means you decide which ones are the best or make the most sense for the situation. After making a choice, you take action and do whatever you decided. After taking action, you look back at what happened, and figure out how it went. Did it solve the problem? Did it help you reach your goal? If it worked, great! Now you can continue doing whatever you chose. If it didn't work, repeat the cycle and choose a different option.

This is an important life skill, because it helps you solve problems and make good decisions!
