Declaration for Healthy Food and Agriculture

Have you ever heard your parents say “eat your vegetables” or “don’t eat too much candy”? Well, just like parents want us to eat healthy things to help us grow strong, there are people all around the world who want everyone to have access to healthy food and for farmers to grow crops in a healthy and sustainable way.

These people got together and made a declaration, which is like a list of rules, called the Declaration for Healthy Food and Agriculture. This declaration talks about things like making sure farmers are taking care of the soil in their fields so that it stays healthy and can keep growing crops for a long time.

It also talks about protecting important things like water, which are used to help grow crops. The declaration even talks about how we can use technology to help us grow food without harming the environment.

So, basically, the Declaration for Healthy Food and Agriculture is a list of rules made by people who want to help everyone have access to healthy food and make sure that farmers take care of the land so it can keep growing food for a long time.
