Declaration of the Rights of the Child

A declaration of the rights of the child is a list of rights that everyone in the world has as a child. It says what all children have the right to do, have and be. For example, the right to life, the right to get an education and the right to have their opinion heard. It's like a list of rules that say what children deserve and should get to be healthy and happy. Everyone, including parents, teachers, governments, and adults in general, should uphold these rights and make sure every child has them.
