Decomposition theorem

The decomposition theorem is like separating a big pizza into smaller pieces. Let's say you have a huge pizza that has lots of toppings on it like pepperoni, mushrooms, and green peppers. You want to see what the pizza is made of and find out how many slices have each topping.

The decomposition theorem helps you do this by breaking the pizza into smaller slices with only one kind of topping on each slice. This is called decomposing the pizza into its ingredients.

Similarly, in math, when we have a big problem we can use the decomposition theorem to break it into smaller, simpler problems to solve them one by one. This makes it easier to understand and solve the problem.

So, just like breaking down a pizza into its toppings, the decomposition theorem gets us to the bottom of a problem by breaking it into smaller pieces!
