The deep water cycle is like a giant washing machine. First, the sun heats up the ocean and evaporates (turns into vapor) the water. The vapor rises up into the atmosphere, where it cools and turns back into small drops of water called clouds. The clouds move around until they can't hold any more water, then the water falls back down to the ocean as rain, sleet, hail, or snow. That water then warms up and the cycle starts again!
