Deflection routing

Okay kiddo, you know how sometimes when you're playing with your toys, you want to change the direction of your car or train or ball? Deflection routing is kind of like that, but with something called data.

Imagine that data is like a bunch of little cars, all driving along a road called the internet. Sometimes, these cars need to change direction so they can get to the right place. That's where deflection routing comes in.

Deflection routing is when the internet sends data on a different path than the one it was originally heading for. This can happen if there's a traffic jam or some other problem along the main road.

So imagine that one of those little cars hits a traffic jam on the internet road. The internet will look for another way to get that car to where it needs to go. It might send it along a different road, or even through someone's backyard!

But don't worry, kiddo, the internet is really good at finding the best way to get the data where it needs to go. It might take a little longer, but eventually, that little car will get to the right place. And that's how deflection routing works!
