Deities and fairies of fate in Slavic mythology

In Slavic mythology, people believed in certain powerful beings known as gods and goddesses. These beings were in charge of different things like the weather, animals, crops, and even fate. Fate is like what happens to you in the future, whether it is good or bad.

One group of beings that people believed in were called the Deities of Fate. They were responsible for making sure that people's lives went according to plan. They were like the bosses of fate. There were three main Deities of Fate: Lada, Lel, and Polel. Lada was in charge of love, beauty, and fertility. Lel was in charge of music, dance, and springtime. Polel was in charge of horses and farming.

Another group of beings that people believed in were called fairies or nymphs. They were like magical creatures that could either help or harm people. Some of them were in charge of fate too. For example, there was a fairy named Kupala, who was in charge of love and matchmaking. People would even celebrate a holiday in her honor to bring good fortune in love.

Overall, the deities and fairies of fate were important figures in Slavic mythology. People believed that they could influence their lives, so they would often pray to them or make offerings in hopes of a good outcome.
