ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Demi-brigade

Okay kiddo, so a demi-brigade is kind of like a special group of soldiers who work together. They have a name that's French and it means "half-brigade."

Now, a "brigade" is just a group of soldiers who all work together to do things like fight battles, protect their country, or help people in need.

But a demi-brigade is just half the size of a normal brigade. It's still a group of soldiers who work together, but there are fewer of them.

Sometimes, a demi-brigade might be made up of soldiers from different parts of the military, like the army and the navy. That way, they can work together and do things that neither group could do on their own.

Does that make sense, kiddo?
