ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Demographic window

Demographic window is a way to look at how many people are in different parts of life and how it affects things like jobs, schools, housing, and the economy. Using this information, people can think of ways to help make sure everyone has the help they need. For example, if a city has a lot of younger people but not enough jobs or places to live, they can try creating more jobs or building more apartments. On a bigger scale, governments can try to create policies and programs that make sure everyone has the same chances and opportunities to succeed.
