Denial of Peter
Once upon a time, a long time ago, there was a man named Jesus who was very kind to people and loved everyone. One of his friends was a man named Peter, who was one of his closest friends and a follower of Jesus.
One day, when Jesus was arrested and taken away by people who didn't like him, Peter was scared and didn't want to get in trouble too. So, when some people asked Peter if he knew Jesus, Peter said no and pretended like he didn't know him.
Later, when some other people asked him again if he knew Jesus, Peter said no again and even started to yell and say that he didn't know him at all. This made Jesus, who was also there listening, very sad and disappointed in his friend Peter, because he thought Peter really loved and believed in him.
After Jesus was put on the cross and died, Peter realized what he did was wrong and felt very guilty for denying Jesus. He apologized for what he did and promised to try harder to be brave and honest like Jesus always was.
