Dental drill

Okay kiddo, so you know how you brush your teeth every morning and night to keep them nice and clean? Well, sometimes our teeth can have a little problem that needs to be fixed. That's where the dental drill comes in!

The dental drill is a tiny machine that your dentist uses to help fix your teeth. It looks kind of like a pen with a long, thin pointy end. The pointy end is actually a little drill bit that spins around really fast when your dentist turns on the machine.

Now, remember how we talked about our teeth having problems? Sometimes those problems come in the form of little holes or cavities. When that happens, the dentist needs to remove the damaged part of the tooth so it can be replaced with a filling. That's where the dental drill comes in handy!

The dentist will carefully use the dental drill to remove the damaged part of the tooth. It might make a little bit of noise and sometimes it feels like a vibration in your mouth. But don't worry, the dentist will make sure you're comfortable and not in any pain.

Once the damaged part of the tooth is gone, the dentist will use other tools to clean and shape the remaining tooth so it's ready for the filling. And that's all there is to it! The dental drill may seem a little scary at first, but it's actually a very helpful tool that your dentist uses to keep your teeth healthy and strong.
