Dental torque wrench

A dental torque wrench is a special tool that helps the dentist tighten a screw or bolt inside your mouth. It looks like a small metal stick with a handle on one end and a small, square socket on the other end.

When your dentist needs to tighten a screw or bolt, they will insert the torque wrench into your mouth and place the socket over the head of the screw or bolt. Then, they will use the handle to turn the wrench, which will tighten the screw or bolt.

The torque wrench is really helpful because it lets the dentist apply just the right amount of pressure to the screw or bolt. This is important because if the screw or bolt is too loose, your dental appliance might become loose or fall out. But if the screw or bolt is too tight, it could damage your teeth or the appliance.

So by using the torque wrench, your dentist can make sure the screw or bolt is tightened just right - not too loose and not too tight. And that helps keep your teeth and dental appliance safe and secure!
