ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Dentoalveolar

Dentoalveolar means "having to do with teeth and the jawbone". It is the area between your teeth and jawbone. This area includes your gums, jawbone tissue, and the roots of your teeth. The dentoalveolar region is important because it supports your teeth so you can eat and speak properly. Keeping this area healthy is important to keep your mouth healthy.
