Deputy governor

A deputy governor is someone who assists the governor, or the head honcho, of a state or territory in some countries. Think of it as the governor's sidekick! They help make important decisions, like how to spend money, and work to make sure things are running smoothly in the state they are in charge of.

But, just like in a class, if the governor is ever unable to do their job or has to step down, the deputy governor becomes the new leader. It's like when the teacher has to leave the classroom for a bit, the deputy governor takes over until the governor can return.
