Derryn Hinch is a person who used to be on TV and the radio in Australia. He talked about things that people were interested in, like news and politics. Sometimes he said things that made people upset, but he said them because he thought it was important to tell the truth. He also cared a lot about kids and made sure that bad people who hurt kids got in trouble with the police. The government didn't always agree with him, but he kept doing what he thought was right.
