Design predicates

Design predicates are standards of behavior used to evaluate a particular situation or thing. For example, if you wanted to find out if a dress is appropriate to wear to a wedding, you could use a design predicate like "elegant and classic" to decide if the dress fits the criteria. Design predicates can be used to judge anything, such as whether a website is user friendly or if a restaurant has good service.
