Despotism

Despotism is when a single person has complete control over a country or region. This person is called a despot and has the power to do whatever they want without having to answer to anyone. They also don't have to follow any laws or rules that other people in the country or region have to follow. It's like they are the boss and everyone else has to do what they say.
