Detoxification

Okay, kiddo, detoxification is when our body gets rid of bad stuff. Remember when you ate too many sweets and your tummy felt funny? That funny feeling was your body telling you it doesn't like too much sugar. And what did your body do? You probably pooped or threw up. That's detoxification, getting rid of the bad stuff from your body.

Now, as we grow up, we eat lots of things that are not good for our body like junk food, soda, and sometimes we even breathe in bad air. Our body needs to get rid of all the bad stuff we put in, that's where detoxification comes in. Our body has organs like the liver and kidneys that filter out bad stuff and make sure our body stays healthy.

Some people also do a detox, where they eat healthier foods and drink lots of water to help their organs get rid of the bad stuff faster. Kind of like a mini-cleaning for the body. So, just like when we clean our room and throw away the broken toys or old stuff we don't need, detoxification is like doing the same thing for our body, cleaning out the bad stuff and keeping us healthy.
