Detrended correspondence analysis

Detrended Correspondence Analysis (DCA) is a type of statistical analysis used to compare a set of variables in a data set. It works by measuring the differences between the variables. For example, researchers might use DCA to look at differences in the number of species of animals in different habitats. The DCA would find out which habitats had the most (or least) species and what kinds of species were in each habitat. It can also show how the same types of species cluster together throughout the data set.
