Development chef

Okay kiddo, so a development chef is kind of like a cooking scientist. They work in a kitchen with other chefs and try to come up with new recipes or improve old ones.

So let's say they want to make a new type of soup. The development chef will start by thinking about all the things that could go into the soup, like vegetables, spices, and maybe even meat.

Then they will start testing out different combinations of these ingredients to see what tastes the best. They might make a small batch of soup and have other people taste it to see if they like it too.

The development chef will keep changing things until they have a recipe that they really like and that other people like too. Once they have the recipe, they might make a lot of soup for a restaurant to sell or for people to buy in a grocery store.

So basically, a development chef is like a really good cook who tries to make new and tasty things that people will want to eat.
