Development town

A development town is a place where people live and work. They are usually built in areas that don't have many people living there, in order to help people who wouldn't normally have access to jobs, homes, shops, hospital and other important services. These towns are often built from scratch, with people and businesses being invited to set up shop and live there. The development town will usually include things like factories and offices where people can find work, homes and shops where people can buy food and other things they need and transport links to help people travel around.
