Dhyāna in Buddhism

Dhyana is an important Buddhist practice that means "meditation" or "thoughtfulness". It involves focusing your attention on certain ideas and thoughts to help you become more aware and mindful. The idea is to reduce the distractions we face in our day-to-day lives so that we can better focus on the present moment. By doing this, we can gain insight into our thoughts, feelings, and actions. Dhyana may also help us to better understand our purpose and place in the world.
