ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Difference (philosophy)

Philosophy is the study of people's ideas about the world and the meaning of life. It looks for patterns in the way we think and how these patterns shape our decisions and actions. The goal of philosophy is to understand how we come to know what we think and believe, and how our beliefs lead us to behave in certain ways.

The difference between philosophy and other subjects, like science and math, is that philosophy isn't about finding answers or solving problems. Instead, it's about looking closely at how we see the world, how we make decisions, and how our thoughts guide our actions.
