Differential equations
A differential equation is a mathematical equation that looks at how a certain part of something changes. It looks at how things are changing over time. Imagine a ball rolling down a hill. The differential equation would look at the speed of the ball as it changes over time as it rolls down the hill. The equation would give you information about how fast the ball is going at different points.
