Din-i Ilahi was a new religion that was created by the emperor of India named Akbar the Great. He wanted to bring all religions together and create a new religion that would be peaceful and accepting of all people.
So, he took elements from Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, and other religions and combined them into one religion. He named it Din-i Ilahi, which means "Divine Faith."
The religion had some basic beliefs, such as the idea that there is only one God and that all people are equal. It also had some unique practices, such as a new calendar and a special form of greeting that followers were supposed to use.
Unfortunately, not many people ended up following the religion, and it died out pretty quickly after Akbar died. But it is still interesting to look at and learn about because it shows how people can try to bring all religions together and create something new.
