Dinka alphabet

Okay kiddo, the Dinka language is spoken by people in South Sudan, and they needed a way to write down their language so they could keep records and communicate with each other using written words.

So, they made an alphabet just for Dinka! An alphabet is like a special way of writing letters.

There are 32 letters in the Dinka alphabet. Each letter is a different shape that represents a different sound in the language. The letters look kind of squiggly and curvy, but they all have a specific way they're supposed to look.

Just like how we learn our ABCs, Dinka kids learn the Dinka alphabet by practicing the shapes of each letter and what sound they make. Then they can put the letters together to make words and sentences on paper.

That's basically what the Dinka alphabet is - a special way for people who speak Dinka to write down their language and communicate with each other.
