Dinkus

A "dinkus" is a word that doesn't have a clear meaning on its own - it's something that people use as a placeholder, kinda like when you say "thingamajig" or "whatchamacallit" if you can't remember a real word. Sometimes people use "dinkus" when they're talking about the little symbols or icons that you see on a computer or phone keyboard, like the smiley face or the heart.
