Direct evidence

Direct evidence is when you have proof that something happened or that someone did something because you saw it with your own eyes or heard it with your own ears. It's like when a teacher catches a student cheating on a test and they have direct evidence because they saw the student looking at someone else's paper. Direct evidence is really strong proof because it comes straight from the source and you don't need to guess or rely on someone else's word for it.
