Director string

A director string is a way of describing the path of decision makers at a company. It tells us who is in charge of what decisions. In other words, it's like a map that shows who manages certain decisions or tasks. For example, someone in charge of sales might be listed at the top of the director string and followed by the people in charge of marketing and finance. This way, if a decision needs to be made about something, it can be made quickly because it's easy to follow the director string to figure out who should make the decision.
