Directors' Fortnight

Directors' Fortnight is a special event held at the Cannes Film Festival where some of the world's best new directors show off their movies. During the two-week event, audiences can watch exciting new movies from all over the world–many of which have never been seen before. It is a great opportunity for filmmakers to get their work seen and maybe even get some recognition or awards. Often times, the movies that are shown at Directors' Fortnight gain a lot of attention from film critics and movie fans, so it can be an even bigger opportunity for a director to make a name for themselves.
