Dirichlet density

Dirichlet density is a type of probability density (or measure) used to describe the pattern of something that is spread out over a number of different categories. It is especially useful for describing how something is divided into different parts. For example, if you have a group of people, Dirichlet density can tell you how the group is made up of different genders, ages, and ethnicities.
