ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Disjunctive graph

Okay kiddo, let's imagine we have a special kind of map called a disjunctive graph. This map shows different places that we can go to, but there's a catch - each place has two or more roads leading to it, and we can only pick one road to take.

Let's say we want to travel from our house to the park. We look at the disjunctive graph and see that there are three possible roads we can take to get there: the blue road, the green road, or the red road.

We have to choose one road to take and follow it until we get to the park. Once we reach the park, we can't go back and choose a different road - we're stuck with the road we picked.

Now, let's imagine we want to go to the grocery store instead. We look at the disjunctive graph and see that there are two possible roads we can take: the blue road or the purple road.

Again, we have to choose one road and follow it until we reach the grocery store. Once we get there, we can't change our minds and go to the park instead - we have to stick with our choice.

A disjunctive graph is like a big puzzle, where we have to make choices and follow different paths to get to our destinations. It helps us think about the different options we have and choose the best path for our journey.
