ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Disney Digital 3-D

Disney digital 3-D is like watching a really cool movie with special glasses on that make things look like they're popping out of the screen! It's kind of like when you put on sunglasses and everything looks darker, but instead of making things darker, the glasses make the movie look like it's coming towards you.

The reason it's called "digital" is because the movie isn't made with an old-fashioned film camera. Instead, everything is created on a computer and then put together to make a movie.

The number "3-D" means that the movie has three dimensions. That's like when you draw a picture on a piece of paper, it only has two dimensions because it's flat. But if you had clay or Play-Doh and you made a sculpture, that would have three dimensions because it has height, width, and depth. In a 3-D movie, you can see things moving forwards or backwards, up and down, or side to side. It's like you're in the movie!

So, Disney digital 3-D is a really neat way to watch a movie that makes it feel like you're right in the middle of all the action!
