Dissolution of Austria-Hungary

Austria-Hungary was a country that included both Austria and Hungary, and it lasted from 1867 until 1918. World War 1 started in 1914 and Austria-Hungary got involved. During the war, the two countries became more and more divided, and eventually the country split apart. After the war ended in 1918, Austria and Hungary were separate countries with their own governments. That's what is called the "dissolution" of Austria-Hungary.
