Divine Liturgy

Divine Liturgy is a special way of worshipping God in the Eastern Orthodox Church, similar to how people sing songs and say prayers in other types of churches.

During the Divine Liturgy, the priest leads the service with special clothes and symbols. The people in the church also participate, with some standing and others sitting, and they sing and say special prayers together.

There is also an altar in the church where the priest performs the sacrament of Holy Communion, which is when people receive bread and wine as a symbol of Jesus Christ's body and blood.

Some parts of the Divine Liturgy are spoken in a language called Greek, which is an old language that was used a long time ago in Greece. However, some churches may use other languages too, like English or other languages from their own countries.

Overall, Divine Liturgy is a way for people in the Eastern Orthodox Church to worship together and show their love and respect for God.
