Divine being

Okay kiddo, a divine being is someone or something that is believed to have special powers and is sometimes thought of as being like a god. Just like how your parents might have special powers to keep you safe and make you feel loved, many people believe that there is a higher power in the universe that is responsible for everything and has the power to control things that we cannot. Some people might call this higher power God, Allah, Buddha, or any number of other names depending on their beliefs. It's important to remember that not everyone believes in divine beings and that's okay too!
